Input resistance of a vibrator parallel to the side of a wedge
Abstract
An integral equation method is used to obtain a numerical solution for the input resistance of a vibrator parallel to the side of an infinite ideally conducting wedge. Results are presented for a half plane, a right-angle wedge, and corners. Attention is given to the error arising from the substitution of exact values of diffraction components of the kernel by approximate values expressed through the probability integral.
