Analysis of the temperature field in a gas-filled heat pipe taking into account the heat overflow along the casing
Abstract
The paper proposes an analytical model of temperature distribution in the wall of a pipe casing. The model determines the effect of axial heat overflow on the characteristics of variable conductance heat pipes. The influence of the thermal conductivity of the pipe casing material and the rate of heat exchange in a condenser are determined.
