Calculation of the hydrodynamic characteristics of a boundary layer on a continuous axisymmetric elastic surface
Abstract
A computational study is presented of the axisymmetric laminar boundary layer of a viscous incompressible fluid on a continuous elastic surface. The analytical dependence of the main hydrodynamic characteristics of the flow on the velocity gradient of the continuous surface is determined in asymptotic regions where the longitudinal coordinate changes. It is shown that the velocity gradient of the surface tends to produce an increase in the total friction force.
