Radiation from an electron beam-magnetoplasma
Abstract
The possibility of the direct generation of electromagnetic radiation at electron plasma frequency from a beam-magnetoplasma system is examined. An expression for the generation of electromagnetic waves under the combined action of magnetic and electrostatic fields is presented. The results are applied to the study of solar radio emission.
