Identification of the missing f5/2 state in 201Hg by Coulomb excitation
Abstract
The predicted f5/2 state in 201Hg has been identified at 26.26 keV in the decay of states at 384.3, 414.5, 464.4 and 553.0 keV after Coulomb excitation with 16O and 4He beams. A revised level scheme of 201Hg including spin-parity 0710 1102 assignments, branching ratios and B(E2) values is presented and explained in the neutron one-quasi-particle core-coupling model.
