The age of the Universe
Abstract
The paper discusses various theories concerning universe dating, emphasizing the Hubble velocity/distance relationship. Attention is given to comparisons of the luminosity function for globular clusters in several Virgo Galaxies. The expansion age derived by Aaronson, Huchra and Mould is found to be only 10 thousand million years (as opposed to 20 thousand million).
