Absolute stellar magnitudes and masses of UV Ceti-type flare stars
Abstract
Dynamical parallaxes, absolute stellar magnitudes and masses are determined for 19 UV Ceti-type, flare stars which are members of visual binary systems with known orbits. It is shown that flare stars M4V are fainter than constant stars by 1.7m and their masses are lower than masses of constant stars: M(UV)/M(const.) = 0.65.
