Algorithms of the method of apparent motion parameters for the determination of artificial satellite orbits and satellite tracking parameters
Abstract
Detailed algorithms and calculational schemes are presented for the determination of artificial satellite orbits on the basis of observations made at a single tracking station during one satellite passage. The algorithms allow the calculations of both satellite apparent motion parameters at a given station and circular, elliptical and Keplerian orbital elements from photographic positional observations and/or laser ranging, as well as orbital ephemerides and test data.
