Behavior of Bleustein-Gulyaev waves in a periodically corrugated piezoelectric crystal
Abstract
The study deals with the propagation characteristics of Bleustein-Gulyaev waves, which are pure surface shear waves, in a periodically corrugated piezoelectric material. It is found that the metal coating of the surface is effective in achieving a wider stop-bandwidth and a large stopband attenuation.
