Diffraction of surface gravity waves by an underwater channel of variable depth
Abstract
The diffraction of plane gravity waves by a submerged channel whose depth is either constant or variable across the channel is examined. The elevation of the free surface and the reflection and transmission coefficients are calculated over a range of wave numbers.
