Efficient miniature S.A.W. convolver
Abstract
The paper reports the development of a miniature SAW convolver with a bandwidth of 90 MHz, an interaction time of 12 microsec, and high efficiency, the output power being -73 dBm for an input of 1 dBm. The overall size is 80 x 14 x 5 mm. This paper describes the transducer design, the horns for SAW beam compression, and the acoustic waveguide. Performance results are also given.
