Radiant transfer in the Martian atmosphere and the greenhouse effect
Abstract
Radiant transfer on the planet Mars under various meteorological conditions is examined, along with the possible evolution of the Martian climate over the past epochs. The problem of global Martian radiant transfer is analyzed in an approximation of radiant-convective equilibrium. The influence of changes in chemical composition and atmospheric density on the Martian climate is discussed.
