Emden sphere embedded in a background
Abstract
The interaction between a supercluster as an asymptotical nonempty background, and a cluster with independent dynamics, is considered, and a generalization of the classical Emden sphere is developed, utilizing the Vlasov theory. It is shown that for a system with small residual velocities and perfect fluid matter, the metric can be described as a perturbation of a background metric of Gaussian type.
