The eddy-damped quasi-normal Markovian approximation applied to three-dimensional fully developed turbulence
Abstract
Nonlocal interactions in homogeneous isotropic three-dimensional turbulence are examined within the framework of eddy-damped quasinormal Markovian approximation. Coefficients characterizing the time-evolution of the kinetic energy, integral scale, and temperature are determined.
