On the influence of the molecular Prandtl number on the turbulent Prandtl number
Abstract
The present analysis of turbulent heat transfer in a shear flow is limited to thin two-dimensional shear layers (described by partial differential boundary layer equations). The analysis is focused on the influence of the molecular Prandtl number on the turbulent Prandtl number; this question is of particular interest to heat transfer problems in liquid metals.
