Results of a subjective comparison of echo control devices in terrestrial and satellite trunks
Abstract
Results are presented from an experiment to evaluate the subjective performance of echo suppressors and echo cancellers on satellite and terrestrial facilities in the Canadian network. The results show that single hop satellite facilities equipped with echo cancellers can provide equivalent performance to long-haul terrestrial facilities in the DDD network.
