Perturbation methods in heat conduction
Abstract
A review of the perturbation applications in heat conduction is presented. Among singular perturbation techniques the method of matched asymptotic expansions appears to be widely used. On the regular perturbation side, new developments, such as a three-step process of computer extension, analysis, and improvement are outlined.
