Quantitative laser technique for measuring density gradients by the use of optoelectronic components
Abstract
A measurement process is presented where the deflection of the light rays is converted into a proportional electric signal by employing position detectors. This process enables the calculation of density gradients, which originate in the compression and expansion of two-dimensional flows.
