Fast infrared interferometry
Abstract
The paper presents a far infrared laser interferometer with a band-width of 10 MHz designed to study fast electron density fluctuation occurring with TTMP heating at 10 to 150 kHz. Attention is given to FIR lasers and the involved problems. Present results concerning the lasers and beats between two FIR lasers are given. It is reported that fluctuations of 1 percent are expected to be seen.
