Data acquisition and transmission from highly accelerated ballistic missiles of small and medium caliber
Abstract
The use of miniaturized sensors and transmission systems in the development of weapon systems is discussed. The sensors withstand extremely high accelerations and are manufactured by thick film techniques on ceramic substrates. The properties, characteristics, and manufacturing problems encountered with single and multichannel measuring systems are described. A few examples are presented showing how practical ballistic telemetric measuring systems are used.
