Probe for measuring high-rate local heat fluxes
Abstract
The paper describes a calorimeter assembly for the measurement of high-intensity (of the order of 100,000 W/sq m) heat fluxes. The assembly consists of 13 copper constantan sensors, which are flat differential thermocouples. Experimental values of distribution of heat flux from a graphite radiator agree well with theoretical results.
