On the electromagnetic plane wave scattering from a wire grid with rhombic cells
Abstract
The reflection coefficients from a wire grid with rhombic cells located over the ground were derived, including the cross polarized components. The cells of the grid were assumed to be small compared with the free space wavelength, and the spacing between the grid and the ground was assumed to be larger than the dimension of the cells. Some numerical results are presented to illustrate the effects of various parameters. The method of averaged boundary conditions was used for the derivation.
