Selecting the duration of measurement of the signal in a laser gyroscopic compass

In the present paper, expressions relating the laser-gyroscope error to the duration of a single measurement of the output signal of the laser gyroscope are derived under the assumption that the laser gyroscope rests, in an ideally horizontal position, on a fixed base. The error arising from signal quantization by levels is taken into consideration.
