A double-wave model of propagation of perturbations in a liquid with gas bubbles
Abstract
A model is proposed of propagation of perturbations corresponding simultaneously to both branches of the sound velocity dispersion curve during sound propagation in a liquid with gas bubbles. The sound velocity dispersion curve has two dispersion branches separated by an opaque region. An equation is derived for the perturbation dispersion curve and its nonsteady state solution is determined; areas of application of low frequency and high frequency approximations of the derived equation are established.
