Stimulated electronic Raman scattering in rubidium vapour
Abstract
Stimulated electronic Raman scattering using 6S level as final level in rubidium vapour has been used to obtain tunable infrared output near 3620 cm -1. A weaker Raman scattering using 4D level has also been observed near 4400 cm -1. Some properties of these infrared radiations are discussed.
