Vibronic analysis of TRSVL fluorescence spectra of glyoxal . Activity in ν6
Abstract
Time-resolved single vibronic level (TRSVL) fluorescence spectra have been analyzed in order to identify the vibronic activity of the CH wagging mode, ν6, in glyoxal fluorescence. Four absorption bands can be assigned to transitions involving ν' 6 (6 017 01, 6 02, 8 016 017 01, and 8 016 02) leading to a value for ν' 6 of 719 ± 3 cm -1.
