Meksyn's method applied to jet flows
Abstract
It is observed that Meksyn's method can be applied to study jet flow problems. Applicability is demonstrated in two cases: two dimensional jet and heated two-dimensional laminar vertical jet. Results are found to be in agreement with exact solution for a two dimensional jet and with numerical solution for heated two-dimensional laminar, vertical jet. Second example also provides an application of Meksyn's method to coupled equations.
