Calculation of a turbulent boundary layer on a plate in the case of intensive injection
Abstract
A two-zone model for the boundary layer and a universal velocity profile for the external 'jet' zone of the layer are used to develop a method for calculating a turbulent boundary layer on a flat porous plate with intense injection. Computational results are found to agree well with available experimental data over a wide range of injection parameters.
