The calculation of mutual interference in satellite communications systems
Abstract
The paper deals with satellite communication systems with a limited number of subscribers (up to 30-40). A calculation procedure for mutual interference is presented along with a computer program developed on the basis of this procedure. The principal features of the procedure include the possibility of examining systems where each subscriber has an arbitrary number of frequency channels and where the interference comes from either a single source or several sources. The position instability of a repeater transmitting antenna is also determined.
