Infrared video camera at 10 µm
Abstract
A new IR video camera operating between 8-14 microns is described. The thermooptical properties of a liquid crystal film are used. The image is obtained with a scanning polarimeter and visualized on a TV screen. The surface of the human body can be visualized with a 0.1-sec response time.
