Methods for constructing a selenocentric system of reference-point coordinates from observations of arbitrary type and structure
Abstract
Consideration is given to the construction of a selenocentric coordinate system on the basis of observations of different type, e.g., earth-based photography, spaceborne measurements, gravimetric measurements of the lunar surface, etc. The problem is solved on the basis of a generalized method of least squares of a linear state estimate with minimum dispersion in the class of linear estimates. An algorithm for the construction of a selenocentric reference system is presented.
