Automated processing of measurement data obtained from the MMR-06-Dart system
Abstract
The principles of coding meteorological data obtained from the MMR-06-Dart system are described along with the coding unit design of a radio relay station receiving signals from meteorological rockets. Problems of feeding computers with the coded data are discussed with emphasis placed on real-time processing. It is noted that future radio relay stations will be equipped with standard coding units interfaced with a computer system. In this case, data processing will consist of two phases: initial and secondary processing. The time for initial processing is estimated, and the characteristics of computer memories related to meteorological data processing are evaluated.
