Problems of hydrodynamics and heat exchange
Abstract
The distribution of local friction and the transition to turbulence at the initial section of a plane channel was studied. Aspects of the motion of a strongly compressed gas cavity between parallel and nonparallel walls were examined, and an investigation of two phase flow in a vertical tube was carried out. Turbulent heat exchange in an arbitrary change of thermal flow on a wall was reviewed as well as heat exchange of a thin cylinder with pulsating flow in a circular channel. Local friction on two phase horizontal flow was also measured.
