Simultaneous operation of an active two-terminal network and a three-arm circulator
Abstract
A theoretical treatment is given to the functioning of a circuit consisting of an active two-terminal network with negative resistance and a ferrite circulator; circuits of this type are common in microwave solid-state (Gunn or avalanche diode) amplifiers or oscillators. Consideration is given to the synthesis of active network and circulator, circuit operational stability, and circuit gain coefficient.
