Shaping of analyzing signals in the study of cosmic plasmas
Abstract
The paper considers voltage-signal shaping devices for charged-particle spectrometers used for the spaceborne study of interplanetary and circumplanetary plasmas. Attention is given to static and dynamic indicators of amplitude control and stabilization in the signal shaping process. The relationships presented satisfy requirements of accuracy, dynamic range, and stability with regard to plasma-diagnostic equipment aboard Mars, Venera, and Prognoz spacecraft.
