Use of resistive films for 'weight' processing of signals in surface acoustic wave devices
Abstract
Theoretical and experimental results are presented on the use of resistive voltage dividers in SAW devices for radio signal processing. Such dividers enable the weight processing of signals without the need for changing lengths of transducer electrodes, which leads to a significant decrease of diffraction losses. Experimental results are presented for a SAW device for the compression of linear-FM signals.
