Electrochemical and fading properties of surface sublatent and latent images
Abstract
An attempt was made to determine the electrochemical properties of surface sublatent and latent images on cubic silver bromide grains, which were incorporated in a weakly sulfur sensitized photographic film. Film pieces were carried through a sequence of exposure, redox treatment, latensification, development, and postdevelopment procedures. The experiments form the first reported electrochemical investigation using latensification after redox treatment. The experimental methods and solutions are described.
