Investigation of wave propagation in circular waveguides with longitudinally homogeneous inserts
Abstract
The considered investigation has the objective to solve the problem of wave propagation in a circular waveguide with symmetrically placed interior conductors. A waveguide design for which the contours are adapted to a cylindrical coordinate system is used as a mathematical model. The general case of a medium of propagation which is inhomogeneous in a transversal direction is considered. Field characteristics for hybrid waves are adapted to the boundary conditions of the system. Results are considered for E, H, and TEM waves.
