PSK modem of domestic TDMA system
Abstract
Absolute coherent PSK detection without differential encoding is the best detection technique. It is also useful for a random error correction circuit. In this paper, carrier recovery circuit, which is composed of reverse-modulator and tank-limiter with APC, is investigated and realized to stably extract a reference carrier without phase ambiguity. It is shown that two-phase absolute coherent PSK can be applicable to the TDMA system modem for 30/20 GHz band domestic satellite communication.
