A scanning Fabry-Perot interferometer for far-infrared balloon astronomy.
Abstract
Design and performance details of a scanning Fabry-Perot interferometer developed for far-infrared balloon astronomy are presented. Scanning is achieved mechanically by a parallel spring arrangement and plate spacing is measured by capacitance micrometry.
