Automatic stereophotograph processing system using a variable quantization frequency
Abstract
The automatic stereomapper described uses mechanical scan of laser light spot to extract rapidly and accurately topographic data from stereo aerial photography. Use of a rapidly spinning reflector prism permits significant simplification of video signal processing programs by correction of scale distortions in input data. The principal subsystems of the instrument are discussed.
