Correlations between muon and electron component characteristics in extensive air showers
Abstract
In the present paper, the characteristics of extensive air shower (EAS) components in the course of EAS development are calculated on the basis of a review of available experimental data on shower arrays, using a model that differs from the Wdowczyk, Wolfendale (1973) model by assuming a higher multiplicity law. This model of high-energy interaction and shower development is seen to provide a satisfactory interpretation of the EAS phenomenon in terms of high-energy physics
