Expansion of the force function of an aspherical body in an arbitrary coordinate system
Abstract
Two methods are developed for obtaining a series expansion of the force function of an aspherical body in powers of canonical Andoyer variables in an arbitrary coordinate system. The first method is based on a closedform representation of the general term with the aid of certain special functions. The second method uses a FORTRAN algorithm that operates with Poisson series.
