Calculation of the radiation pattern of sum and difference channels of 4-quadrant monopulse antennas from orthogonal projections
Abstract
Some formulas are developed by which the radiation pattern of sum and difference channels of four-quadrant monopulse antennas can be calculated exactly under certain conditions by means of given orthogonal projections. The effect of electronic beam scanning is also included. The relations developed are useful for analysis and simulation of tracking radars.
