Optics of the planetary spectrograph for the Large Telescope
Abstract
The spectrograph optics discussed in the present paper is compensated for aberration, coma, astigmatism, and image curvature. The catoptric objective containing two aspherical surfaces is of off-axis design. The plate is also off-axis. The optics used to control the surface of the first convex mirror and the second concave mirror of the objective are examined.
