Observations of ten supernovae (1973 - 1977).
Abstract
This paper is a further report of the systematic researches on supernovae carried out at Asiago since 1961. B and V magnitudes of ten supernovae observed at Asiago from 1973 to 1977 are here presented, together with spectroscopic observations secured for some of them. Epoch and magnitude of maximum are determined, from which brightness and distance for supernovae and parent galaxies are derived. Eight of these objects appear to belong to type I, according to their spectroscopic and photometric properties, whereas one more is a probable type II supernov Key words: supernovae - galaxies - photometry - spectroscopy
