Numerical calculations on microwave propagation through rain
Abstract
The aim of this paper is to present some numerical results on effects of rain on microwave propagation. The theory on which some of the calculations rest is a special form of the radiative transfer equation. Numerical values will be given for two problems: coherent propagation through a rain made of oscillating drops, bistatic radar scattering cross-sections of a rain with spheroidal drops.
