Some designs of the basic components fully rotable parabolic radio-telescope antennas
Abstract
The paper considers optimal designs of parabolic-mirror systems for full rotable radio-telescopes operating in the meter-wave range. Particular attention is given to a parabolic reflector with a reflecting grid-surface and with a flexible wire-frame. Consideration is also given to azimuthal rotary supports on air cushions and on floating pontoons.
