The problem of matching a noise generator
Abstract
It is shown that a noise generator can be matched in the meter-wave range with the aid of a ferrite resistance-converter. A noise generator with an anode-load resistance of 300 ohms has been matched with a wave resistance of 75 ohms in the 20-150 MHz frequency range. An equivalent circuit of the noise generator is presented along with the principal-circuit diagram of the anode network of the generator.
