Development of geostationary meteorological satellite Command and Data Acquisition Station /CDAS/
Abstract
The paper describes the configurations and functions of the command and data acquisition system intended for the proposed Japanese geostationary meteorological satellite. The functions of the command and data acquisition system include reception of VISSR signals, transmission of high- and low-resolution facsimile signals, transmission of DCP interrogation signals and reception of DCP report signals, transmission of command signals, reception of telemetry signals, GMS position ranging, and related modulation and demodulation.
